Programme supporting cultural and creative industry entrepreneurs with funding and structured incubation across Southern Africa.

Who can apply:: Entrepreneurs in South Africa, Lesotho or Malawi running registered creative businesses (music, film, fashion, gaming, design, etc.).
Key benefits:: Up to €30,000 per venture, intensive mentorship, incubation and international exposure across 2026.

Business · Innovation

Grant facility that backs African MSMEs, agribusinesses and social enterprises to grow revenue and create decent jobs.

Host:: Boma Prize for Africa & partners
Who can apply:: African-led micro, small and medium enterprises with scalable business models and clear social or economic impact.
Key benefits:: Grant funding (amount varies), visibility and access to a pan-African support network.

Entrepreneurship · SME

Co-funded grants and coaching where diaspora supporters and WIDU.africa back African small businesses together.

Who can apply:: Small business owners in eligible African countries working with a supporter living in Europe (diaspora partner).
Key benefits:: Business coaching plus grant funding that tops up private contributions from your diaspora sponsor, up to several thousand Euros.
